Xgs 126 and Ruckus WiFi calling

We have started installing XGS 126 Firewalls in locations and seem to be having an issue with getting the WiFi callling on our Ruckus access points to work. It works with the 115 we used to use but it seems some change to the 126 is causing an issue

  • I don’t quite understand how a wifi ap performs wifi calling, that is usually a function of the call initiating device?

What does your firewall rule allow?

  • The ruckus access points are running unleashed and have a WiFi calling service that needs to be enabled and the various network domains identified for the WiFi calling to work in the first place. Gonna attach a link to how the setup works to hopefully clear up any confusion.

  • Thank you. I know you advised wifi calling worked on your XG115. The XGS has new processing features which you might need to consider. That seems like a lot of work for a simple task. I use wifi calling on my xg115w using unifi APs. I have enabled a firewall rule allowing IKE which is UDP 4500 and UDP 500.
