Since Ideas.sophos.com has been retired and it wasn't clear if its replacement is operational, yet I went by the retirement article suggesting using the discussions.
Sophos Firewall - Feature Request - Rule Group parameters,
While working on firewall rules today setting QOS policies, I thought to myself wouldn't it be handy if rule groups could set policies onto child rules, it would mean i could apply single policies on multiple rules once rather than on each individual rule itself. Obviously order of precedence would need to apply i.e. Group policies override child rule policies with an override option in rules to override this order of precedence??
Basically, just like how GPOs work on AD objects and OU's..
Anyway, hopefully the relevant teams / people read this?
