RED DEVICE WONT WORK

CASE :  05887593

Hi

I am trying to set up a red device connexion between sophos XG 230 with the lastest firmware and a sd-RED 20

i've tried configuration of the red device with the two ways ( the usb stick and also upload configuration from internet ) and both were not working .

The RED is connected via WAN port directly to the LAN of ISP router . The ISP ROUTER is in DHCP MODE , when am connected to ISP router via Laptop it gaves me an IP ADDRESS .

LED STATS :
The wan port is in solid green STATE .
SYSTEM and Router ,they remain green sometimes solid other times blinking
The internet LED is always OFF

    Adding to what Luca and Vivek had mentioned, checking in the case it looks like you are configuring the RED with an IP in the following subnet of 192.168.1.x/24.

    I would recommend you select another subnet just to rule out any issue with the Local Network where the RED is connected to unless the RED is connected directly to the cable modem and not behind another device.

  • Please get unlock code of SD-RED20 from Sophos tech support or share the SD-RED20 serial number.

    This will help us understand if SD-RED20 has ever contacted provisioning service or not for online provisioning.

    Also are you able to see login prompt at serial console?  If yes means it is still with factory image and it has not upgraded to latest firmware.
