switch to xg

Hello everyone,

I hope someone can explain me....

Im trying to connect a trunk port to xg, however looks like im missing something which i dont fully understand.

server: static ip

switch: link to server = vlan 1, link to xg trunk

added the vlans on xg and stll cand ping them, destination unreachable.

Can you guys explain me the process step by step?

    If using VLAN 1 please use a different ID, VLAN 1 is a management VLAN on the XG.  

    The port for the connection to the XG will need to be tagged and the port to the server will need to be untagged.
