Host with same name already exists[More info] - How to resolve?

Hello people,

I am new here and i came around after a problem a encounter with my sophos firewall. I am using sophos (SFOS 18.5.2 MR-2-Build380) and was blocking some IPs in the "rules and policies" section but after a 10 minutes inactive on it the session was discarded and i had to log in.. The previous work was not saved and i had to re insert the IPs but than i encountered an error:

Host with same name already exists[More info]

Hostname across IP host, IP host group, MAC host, virtual host, FQDN host, FQDN host group, country host, country group and web server cannot be the same. Choose a different hostname

I can not understand how the sophos firewall will not allow me to insert a name that does not exist in the "Source networks and devices". I mean the name was inserted previously but was not saved.. Now it does not allow me to insert the same name again..

Can someone tell me what the problem is and the solution for this..

    suggest you upgrade to a later version. The name will be in the fqdn list, so please search there.

    Kindly review all the host added under System -> Host and Services. If the hostname is not exist, you may upgrade or perform reboot if convenient.

    If the issue still persist, we may need to collect the CSC debug and applog while adding the host.

    ==Refer below to add the service in debug===

    Note: Please disable the csc debug once csc debug logs are collected.

    • Enable csc debug from advance shell : csc custom debug 
    • Upon enabling csc debug, below log line will be printed in csc.log log file. 

    MESSAGE Nov 03 15:57:00 [worker:17524]: Toggling log level to: MAX
     

    • Disable csc debug from advance shell : csc custom debug 
    • Upon disabling csc debug , below log line will be printed in csc.log log file. 

    MESSAGE Nov 03 15:55:59 [listener:1499]: Toggling log level to: WARNING

    Get to the advance shell of the device and use below command to collect the logs:

    tail -f csc.log applog.log
