Sophos Gateway is down email notifications

Question

We have 3 sites, each with a Sophos firewall and each site has various failover options. 2 of the sites have an LTE gateway configured as part of their failover solutions. The problem is, we receive numerous emails saying the gateway is down then a few seconds later it's up again. Is there a way to set the threshold on whatever check is leading to these notifications? Our service provider has confirmed the link is stable.

Hello ZenecadE , Thank you for reaching out to the community, during the gateway down can you confirm whether or not the interface is able to reach to the ISP gateway ? you can also send a arp ping from the console> #system diagnostics utilities arp ping interface You can also check the dgd.log in case of ping failure: On the CLI, select option 5. Device Management , then option 3. Advanced Shell . Then change to the log directory using the command cd /log . - https://docs.sophos.com/nsg/sophos-firewall/19.0/Help/en-us/webhelp/onlinehelp/AdministratorHelp/Logs/LogFileDetails/index.html You can check the syslog.log and dgd.log during the time when the issue occurs... for the live logs you can use the string: tail -f dgd.log for the previous historical logs you can use the strong: less dgd.log

 Greetings, 
 Navigate to Configure -> Network -> WAN link manager. Kindly review the current gateway failover condition. If they have added single IP in failover condition, try adding the multiple public IP with the AND condition as below:

You may choose the IP's in failover condition which has stable ping response.
