Cannot Release DHCP

Hi All,

Good Day!

Is anyone here know how to manually delete the DHCP lease on Sophos firewall. 

IP is not in used but still lease on the DHCP entry.

I already set the lease time in 5 minutes but that is not in used still on the DHCP lease entry.

    Hello Nathaniel Patalod,

    In General DHCP leases getting saved in /tmp/ folder. So reboot will clear or you can stop the service and remove the file. 

    #service dhcpd:restart -ds nosync (or stop/start) or you can turn off DHCP server and turn on back in case reboot is not possible.
