I have a problem with receiving external emails via the sophos MTA. I have a sophos xg 135 firewall, when configured in legacy mode there is no problem with email flow. behind the firewall i have exchange 2013 email server.
I would like to have MTA mode running on the firewall for extra security, and for a better email monitoring system. All incoming emails bounce, with a message of "T=static_smtp: All hosts for "mydomain" have been failing for a longtime and (retry time not reached). How do i resolve this issue?
