Client and Server Slow

Hi,

Im working in retail company and last 2 days ago we faced an issue wherein our client could not communicate with the server located in the same LAN. Once you put the RED50 connection will hang and sometimes very slow. But without the RED50 and putting the ip address manually and subnet mask only without Gateway connection is smooth.Communication betweeh POS and Server very smooth. All other devices are not affected like PC and VOIP.

Branch POS and SRVER no endpoint installed.

can you share a screenshot of your network topology?

Why do you need a RED50 if the clients and your server are located in the same LAN? Are they in the same subnet too?

HI Thomas,

They are in our branch and is connected to our HEad Office via RED Tunnel.

Its a flat network with one subnet. POS and Server connected to the same switch and switch connected to RED50 tunneled to HO.

Please correct me if I misunderstood something: Your problem refers only on the branche side, where your clients with the POS have poor performance when you use your RED50 with DHCP server on your Head Office?

Hi Thomas,

Yes... Though POS and Server IP is configured outside the DHCP scope of the firewall located in the Head Office.
