How do I convert a XG used in production to Home Free Edition?

Greetings,

We just replaced our XG firewalls with new XGS models. I'd like to use one of the old firewalls in a test lab at home. A model XG-135.

I filled out the form for downloading the Home Edition and a serial number was sent.

But the old firewall is still registered to our company.

How do I convert this old firewall to Sophos Home Free Edition for my lab?

    Hi,

    to install the home licence your need to reformat the hard drive completely, not using MS, you need to wipe the Sophos sector with the licence details in it orate easy way is to replace the hard drive.

    Thew device has a physical serial number which m might be registered to your company, ask your partner/reseller to arrange for it to be removed.
