Slow upload speed when connected through WiFi

I got a XG125 firewall. I have a WAN link of 10Mbps full duplex. When I do speed tests on cable, I get the 10Mbps for both  download and upload.

However, the problem starts when I connect through a Wireless device (regardless of the brand). My download is ok (at 10Mbps) but upload  is below 0.5Mbps.

At first, I thought the problem was the UniFi APs, but when I tried with a TP-link, I get similar results. I ruled out that the problem is beyond what AP brand am using.

Anyone with idea of what's causing this, please direct me.

Thanks.

  • Hi,

what device are you testing from? If Apple the device will be in power saving and produce poor results? Also what do the APs show the connection speed of the testing device as?
