Mobile hotspot block

Thank you for reaching out to the community, see you can not control the allow/block action if the client connected to the Internet does not have Sophos Firewall as there gateway. So in this scenario, the best thing would be to have an endpoint that control the network traffic, so that even if someone uses mobile hotspot they may not be able to access the sites blocked in your organization !!

As stated above, you may check the " Peripheral Control Policy on Sophos Endpoint" by using the Block bridged option under Wireless. This will block the hotspot

Thank you for your answer but sophos firewall is the gateway for all the traffic in my network but i sure can try using sophos endpoint

One more question do I need to have subscribed to the Sophos endpoint to use it or my Sophos Xtreme bundle license will do the work?

If firewall is the gateway then you can control the client machine's access to the web with the help of web & application policy

Apart from this certain hotspot uses TCP Ports such as 5000, 2869, 5510, 5502, 500 And UDP Port such as 1900
You can simply create a block rule with the following services mentioned !
