HA in XG Home "Load Balancing status: Not applicable"

Hey all,

I am deploying two XGs Home license in HA mode (active-active), the setup is successful and HA status in the webadmin is : "Established (Active-Active)"

But I noticed when I checked the ha details  in the console the Load Balancing status is "Not applicable" ! does this mean for Home license there is not traffic load balancing ? and whether I configured the two devices in Active-active or active-passive it is always active-passive in terms of traffic load balancing ??

    Hi Wadood

    The list below details how traffic is load-balanced when using HA active-active mode not applicable for active-passive mode.

    • An active-active HA cluster does not load-balance VPN sessions, UDP, ICMP, multicast and broadcast sessions, scanned FTP traffic, and traffic coming through wireless RED devices and access points. TCP traffic for the user portal, web admin console or telnet console, and H.323 traffic sessions are also not load-balanced between the cluster devices. Control traffic for all modules isn't load-balanced.
    • An active-active HA cluster will load-balance normal forwarded TCP traffic, including NAT (both SNAT & virtual host) forwarded TCP traffic. This includes TCP traffic passing through a proxy subsystem such as transparent proxy, direct proxy, parent proxy, and VLAN traffic.
    • HTTPS connection load-balancing is supported.

    If Load Balancing shows  "Not applicable" in case Active Active HA mode the above points are not applicable.

    I am aware how traffic is load balanced, my question is in home license it allows you to configure the ha in active-active mode without any issue

    but in console it says load balancing is not applicable ! ?

    As far as I know,on the Virtual platform Load Balancing is not supported however in my lab I am running "SFVUNL" HA Active Active and when I go and check sys ha show details, it shows me Load Balancing: on 

    Facing no challenge till now.

    My mistake is it supported and applicable I was checking the auxiliary device  that is why it says not applicable

    Sorry, it seems lack of sleep is starting to affect my mental abilities
