Remote SSL VPN & NAT with two ISPs

Hello experts,

just a basic question...

I have Sophos XG with two ISPs. I have Remote SSL VPN configured for users to connect from home, etc... I have a rule that permits "VPN to Internet" and that rule is linked to NAT that translate these connection to ISP1 WAN IP...

Now, the ISP1 connection went down today :) ... and therefore when connecting via Remote SSL, I cannot reach the internet.

How this should be configured so that if ISP1 goes down, the the IP from ISP2 is used for remote connections? As I can select only one WAN ip when trying to modify the NAT rule.

  • Hello ,

Thank you for reaching out to the community, if you are using the v18.5 then under the Routing > SD-WAN Policy routing > add a rule > select the source, destination and services and select the primary and back gateway || in v19.0 under the Routing > SD-WAN routes > Add a rule > select the primary and backup gateway

    Thanks & Regards,
