Sophos XG SSL VPN Multiple VLANs for segmenting different users to different resources

My global settings look like the above. When VPN users log on to with SSL VPN they come up with a 10.81.234.x IP address. I want them to come up in the proper VLAN (VLAN 40) instead.

How would it be possible to treat different VPN users different? (Since these are the global settings)

Thanks,

Josh

  • Hello ,

Thank you for reaching out to the community, you can not config such settings from the global settings of the SSL VPN, but you can for sure create different SSL VPN Policy and add various users into individual policies and then under each policies you can add the resources you wish to allow for those users:

    Thanks & Regards,

  • Mostly I create only one VPN policy and use different firewall rules for different users.
Users (and their group membership) is known after dialling in, so the usage of users or groups is simple within firewall-rules.
