Can you test with Gmail whether it is working or not?

The below link has setting to be done on Sophos XG and on your Gmail account

If Gmail works you might have to make sure mail settings are proper as per your mail server

I had tested with Gmail as well and its working when I have 1 WAN link but as soon as the WAN link becomes to 3 it also stops working and I had followed the same article as shared by you above. That's the reason I jumped to FTP but its also not working. So , is there any other thing that helps me please share.

found the issue. had to create a SDWAN rule with set advanced-firewall sys-traffic-nat add destination to force the traffic using particular WAN interface.

We tried the same setup and logic with SMTP but email still bounces back. Any ideas?

this is happening on new version of XG 18.5 and 19. tried an old XG firmware running at friend and no issue there with FTP or SMTP.

May I know where exactly your mail server is hosted on-premises or in the cloud?

the issue might be your mail server settings as it is working with Gmail which you are already tested. To verify setting with your mail server refer to the below link :

Sophos will help to find the reason your mail server dropping the traffic as per the below link share the status of the reason of getting failed as per the below link :
