I cannot add a second WAN port on my Sophos Firewall

Hi All

I am trying to add a second WAN port in Sophos Firewall (XGS126 (SFOS 19.0.0 GA-Build317) but when I add the IP address, net-mask, gateway ip then I press Save and then Update interface - I get this error: "ip address lies within the leased ip range configured in the dhcp server" But it does not so I am lost here, what I am doing wrong?

I even tried to edit my existing WAN port and I got the same error

Please help me

thanks in advance

Best regards

Charbel

  • Thanks Guys for the Quick help,
I have one DHCP server and the WAN ip was clearly not in the same range, so after 2 hours of looking I decided to reboot the Sophos Firewall and when it rebooted it worked directly and now it is fully working. Not sure what the issue was.

    Thanks again
