Invalid Traffic for NoSpamProxy/Cyren Antivirus

Hello,

we are using NoSpamProxy to filter spam/malicious emails and this software uses Cryen Antivirus to check the mail content. Every email  triggers a webrequest to the Cyren Server (84.39.152.31) on Port 80 but these request are blocked by the XG.

We've created an additional Firewall Rule only for this Traffic to disable any XG Security features (like Web policy, Malware and content scanning and IPS) but the traffic still got blocked/dropped.

In the Firewall Log we got this messages: Invalid Traffic - Denied - Could not associate packet to any connection.

this behavior results in blocking any incomming/outgoing emails by NoSpamProxy, so we need to temporarily disable the Malware Scan (which is a no go)

This is happening since we switch from an UTM Firewall to the new XG.

Does anyone have an idea to fix this?

Our hardware is a XGS2100 (SFOS 19.0.0. GA-Build317)

  • i've set the timeout to 6 hours but it didn't fixed the problem.

but i also found the solution.. the traffic was blocked by a webfilter rule

after disabling this filter policy in the firewall rule the Cyren malware scanning works and the invalid traffic messages disappeared
