Block mobile access in firewall

Hi Ritesh,

Whitelisting the allowed MAC address will be okay.

Instead of blocking thousand of devices, allow only those permitted by specifying the whitelisted MAC on a Firewall Rule.

Or use an Authentication server using Active Directory if applicable.

Thanks a lot for your reply !!
MAC address Whitelisting is not possible in my scenario because students (apprx 6500) daily carry their laptop and we can't fix MAC address for each students because they keep changing laptops...

Only solution if Sophos provide an Android and IOS login restriction option that will serve my purpose. Sophos can easily detect user login methods whether it is from Android client, Android web portal, CAA, IOS Client etc.... If Sophos can detect end user login methods then there should be a provision to restrict that too..

Unfortunately, Sophos does not block devices based on Operating System.

This would be a feature request, kindly reach out to your Account Manager/Sales Engineer so they can submit your idea to our internal system
