Migrating from XG 310 to XGS 3100

Question

We will be migrating from the XG 310 to the XGS 3100 and I was wondering if the previously installed SSL client software would connect to the XGS3100 as it does currently to the XG310? Is there a client upgrade that needs to happen as well?

Hi Jeff Duvall, 
 Thank you for contacting Sophos. Migrating from XG310 to XGS3100 won't affect the previously installed SSL client as long as it&rsquo;s on the same version. 
 but if you migrated from v17 to v18 it&rsquo;ll have an effect, but it can easily be resolved by simply regenerating the appliance certificate.
