How do I easily swapping WAN interface ports?

I mistakenly made the Port2 interface my backup WAN, and Port4 my primary. As a consequence, the SSL VPN always prefers Port2 first, which is not as fast or stable, so I have to edit the user VPN config to move up the Port4 WAN to first in the config.

Is there any easy way to swap them while retaining the correct failover?

I am on a short timeline leaving this company and it's one of the things I want to clean up , but I don't want to break anything either.

Thanks

  • Hi : The WAN Interfaces in the SSL VPN conf file are based on the order in which the interfaces are listed in the database when it was configured. Currently, if you want to connect over a specific ISP then it can be possible by setting up that IP in the "Override hostname". However, that will fix the connection all the time to that IP only.
