XG105w -> XG107w Upgrade - Configuration help?

Hi,

I´m about to upgrade my XG105w to XG107w.

Do you guys have knowledge of configuration? Is there possibility to use export/import properties?

XG105w interface is different mainly in rules section or there is “Firewall” tab and XG107w has “Rules and policies” with NAT and so on.

 There are so much very specific configurations that I can’t even remember half of all settings. Blush So it would be nice to have some kind of migration.

    Sounds like your 105w has a quite old firmware.

    Check out the firmware version on the 107w and update the old 105w machine to the same version. Then take the config backup of the 105w and import it to the 107w.

    I tried to import/export but it didn´t work. XG107w take something from configuration file, but it doesn’t works as it should.

    The XG105w has no required 4Gb of RAM and this is why it´s firmware can´t be updated any 18.xx and it’s stuck at 17 (if I’ve understood right). If firmware would be something 18, then import/export should work properly.

     Any ideas? Blush
