Note: Home Edition is limited to 4 cores and 6 GB of RAM. The computer can have more than this, but Sophos Firewall Home Edition will not be able to utilize it.

To add further to what Vivek posted,

you will need to be doing some very complex configurations to use your 6gb of ram. More than likely you will use about 50%.

I currently have 4gb system with 40 odd rules, dual stack. 41 clienteles users and two cores. Memory is around 70%, though I would like more processing power.
