Bridged ports are not switched ports?

Hi,

I thought creating a Bridge on XGS-136, for example, creates a "switch" between bridged ports, but either I do not understand principle, or reality does not follow the principle - I found no, bridged ports do not behave like switched ports.

For example, created Br0 with Port4 and Port5. Then having a restaurant multiple portable printers and POS terminals on WiFi, connected to Port4, and some printers and cashiers PCs to Port5 via "stupid" 8-port Gigabit switch. I can detect ALL devices with Network scanners, and, for example from wired PC (Port5) I can open HTTP page of Wireless printer (Port4), but I cannot print. Also Wireless POS terminals do not have connection to cashier's PC, and PC cannot initiate payment process on wireless POS terminals, despite that it can access http or FTP service on those devices. But ALL devices have access to internet.

As soon as I  connect them all via Switch, normal connectivity is restroed.

Is this expected? I mean, are bridged interfaces not like being in switch in networking world?
