External URL Database - URL shortener

In which format must the external database be imported? Is there a sample link?

Domains and keywords that are created by third-parties, for example, country-specific block lists.
URL from where the device fetches the list of custom URLS, just for a example sample: http://bit.ly
It could be either based on HTTP OR FTP

I doubt they will be included.
But the other way you may try is by using the local configure category. That way you can import domain/keyword:

I have found this URL list:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dnsdbfr/urlshortener/master/names.txt

Is there a way to import it via the external URL database feature? According to SFOS it is not a valid URL.

It's not valid cause it's a HTTPS site and not HTTP and SFOS only accepts HTTP OR FTP. Steppenwolf

I can import a list only via HTTP but not via HTTPS. Is it possible to work around this limitation?

Work around it that you may want to drop the idea of external database and configure that locally as mentioned above, and they you can add whatever keyword or domains you want to add !! Steppenwolf
