We're cutting over to our new XGS this weekend. One thing I'm particular nervous about is email.. mainly because I have no way to really test it before I plug it in.
I spoke with Sophos's Professional Services and I have meeting set up with them Monday morning, the at day after my switchover. But, I found some ambiguous info about doing the following and I want to be are I'm no missing something:
The XGS is set up for MTA. I'd like the source address to appear to the internet as one of our IP aliases. Since I alreadyy have a rule allowing SMTP traffic out from my LAN, and I correct that all I need to make this work is a SNAT to translate the mail server SMTP traffic to the right alias, as below?
