How to persist imported Sophos Connect VPN connections in User Profile?

I'am evaluating the possibilities of Sophos Connect Client in a non-persistant VDI environment.

Can someone tell me where the imported connections are stored in the users profile?

Importing a connection on the command-line (C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Connect>sccli.exe add -f) works without admin rights on the VDI desktop but it's not persitant  after logoff and logon again to a desktop because I don't see any folder in %appdata% or %localappdata% which is worth to capture for the users profile.

Thanks in advance!

  • Hello ,

Thank you for reaching out to the community, are this profile you are looking for are the ones which you configured on Sophos Connect Client or SSL VPN ?
Cause for the SSL VPN profiles when using the connect client the profiles can be found under the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos SSL VPN Client\config."

    Thanks & Regards,

  • I know the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos SSL VPN Client\config but this doesn't exist because I'am evaluating the new Sophos Connect Client, not the old SSL VPN Client.

I try to find a solution that the user can import any *.ovpn connections to the new Sophos Connect Client and that this connection can be persist in their user profiles. We are using VMware DEM as profile solution and I try to capture all relevant data from their user profiles. But I can't find the place where the Sophos Connect client stores it's data.
