weird traffic in bridge setup

hi,

i'm running a XG210 (SFOS 18.5.3 MR-3-Build408) and have it set-up with a bridge pair BR0 for the primary LAN using Port1 and Port4 as physical members. Both are set as LAN-interfaces.

everyting is connected to Port1, port 4 i only use to connect my computer when issues. behind port1 are 2 simple switches without specific config on them. one connected after the other. It's a small environment.

DHCP 10.0.0.16/23 and everything is running fine for a year now.

but since a few weeks, some strange things happen with people who couldn't print anymoren but others still managed to print...

after some testing with the diagnostics tool i found the following:

- ping to 10.0.0.50 from BR0 is 0% loss

- ping to 10.0.0.50 from Port1 is 100% loss

if anyone has an idea if this is normal behaviour and what am i forgetting...??

thx!

Mike.
