CLI Guides and user guides as PDF?

Hi Sophos Community!

We recently switched to Sophos XGS from Zyxel.

Now we are  wondering: Is there an equivalent to the Zyxel user and CLI guides in PDF format?

Like this (User guide):

CLI:

Thank you

The Performance. The GUI is Mouse-Centric.

After every change the is a mandtory save and a mandatory wait.

Have you ever tried to create many (>100) Firewall Rules in an Enterprise productive Environment with many IPSec Connections to another companies.

I've it done multiple times. This is not done in a few hours. This requires days. With a PaloAlto we are faster.

Yes, some things can be done by importing a self created XML File. For this, we have to use 3rd Party Websites and there is NO Documentations which object depends on which one.

Your Enterprise competitors provida a fully working CLI which allowes to create multiple objects, rules and so on. Copy, paste, ENTER, Wait, Ready.

And mybe the important thing. There exists a "show running config".

It is incredible, that we have to search for EVERY modified setting, such TCP Connection timeouts, or ipsec-acceleration and so on.

    But in Sophos XGS

    Klick - Save - Wait - repeat.

    Klick - Save - Wait - repeat.

    Klick - Save - Wait - repeat.

    Klick - Save - Wait - repeat.

    Klick - Save - Wait - repeat.

    Klick - Save - Wait - repeat.

  • I would suggest you need to investigate the XG apis.
