Version 19 very slow with hardware box?

Thanx! The "garner" process takse 90% cpu. Restart wasnt helped. After I removed "invalid traffic" logging, cpu usage goes back to almost normal, no anymore garner 90% cpu usage. Also I removed lots of central logging settings. But my software device in hyper-v is still many times faster. But it must be, because there I have powerful cpu and 6GB for Sophos XG.

from you post above you would appear to have wan configuration issue.  Have you compared the configuration of the two devices? What is the connection speed of your internet? In most cases except for very speed connections the processor speed has minimal affect especially seeing you are only using a single thread to connect to the speed test.

Now its 500/500 up-down Mbit/s. But I have also Palo PA220 device and its also many times slower than my Palo Alto firewall in Vmware ESXi, where I have lots more cpu and ram resources. My XG86 was slow from beginning when I buied it many years ago. After time it goes little slower. I recently made factory reset and restored settings from backup, but this wasnt changed nothing. But I think now its almost normal. After removing some loggings, cpu usage lowers about from 80% to 40%.  But I put for my main firewall now Sphos XG Home in Hyper-V machine. Its cpu usage is about 10% now and configuration savings goes like flashlight. XG86 I plan to let only for RED server. And buy license.

Thank you for your answer. I don’t think from memory that the x86 is designed for that connection speed. I would check the specifications .

update. My reading of the specifications is about 300mb/s.
