we have a problem with WebAuthentication from Sophos FW which is not actually enabled, in V18.5.3 no one had to log in to access the internet and now many users get a prompt to log in to use internet. We use STAS and SATC for synchronizing the active users from AD and Citrix App Servers.
I first thought it was a setting in users and groups "MAC binding" which was active for some groups/users but this had nothing to do with it.
There is only one firewall rule where "Match known Users" is active but according to the policy test for the users where the query comes this special rule does not apply, in all other rules "Match known Users" is not active.
Also the captive portal is not active under web authentication.
Since we did not have this problem with V18.5.3 it is very likely that it is related to the update.
Has anyone observed a similar phenomenon and even better may have a solution?
