Migrate Internet on XG330

Are there any technical guides or knowledge base articles related to migrating internet service from ISP1 to ISP2?

I have multiple public IP addresses in use with my current ISP.

On these public IP addresses I am connected to multiple remote locations and private cloud services. I also have some incoming rules for hosted services.

My plan, initially, was to:

  1. Create a SDWAN policy to continue routing all current traffic to ISP1
  2. Add the new port config and gateway
  3. Transition IPsec tunnels to ISP2
  4. Gradually update SDWAN rules to allow traffic egress through ISP2
  5. Disconnect / remove ISP1

As I look at the SDWAN policies I'm realizing it may not quite be that simple.

Thanks.

  • Hello there,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

We don't have KBs related to your query, but I would recommend you to reach out to your Sales Engineer for advice in your migration on how to minimize downtime; but I would start changing things that are static and independent of other configurations, such as IPsec in general cases.
