Turning off MFA

Hi all,

I've leaving my current company in a few weeks, (and they don't have a replacement tech. just yet)

I've been in to my two firewalls and disabled the MFA (OTP), so the next person can setup their own authenticator app when they start.

Now, when i log out / and back in again it still needs the authenticator app to gain access?

Do I need to reboot them or should it just work with password right away?

  • ahh, that's the one.

yes.. but i think I've broken it..

I have managed to turn off the token in the MFA token (status =off) but the "MFA for default admin" is turned on.

Because I have logged out, I now cant log back in as admin. is there a way to turn the MFA token status back "on" without the default admin account?

And thanks for your help Vivek!
