Captive Portal logging out automatically after few minutes

I have set an inactivity timeout as 60 minutes and a threshold of 512 bytes. Still users are getting logged out after few minutes of inactivity. I have the latest firmware. Any solution?

    Thank you for your query, can please confirm the firmware version? And since when are you facing this issue? How many number of users are logging on an avg? What is the model number and can you check system graph for any mem/cpu spikes during the time of the issue?

  • Firmware - 18.5.3 MR 3 Build 408. Sophos XG 210.

    Since 3 or 4 months we are facing the issue. Inactivity time is 60 minutes, data transfer threshold is 250 bytes. Almost all the users are facing this issue. there are no cpu or mem spikes. 

    Since this issue started occurring, we enabled STAS. Now domain users are not facing the issue. Only users who are connected through captive portal.

  • what is the reason under the log viewer when the user is auto logged out ?
    And under the authentication > web authentication > captive portal behavior > sign out user > which option is selected ?
