XG210 (SFOS 18.5.3 MR-3-Build408) - WEB/SSH/Panel administration crashed on active node

Hello,

this morning the still active node of one of our XG 210 cluster (latest firmware) crashed. It was not possible to administrate this firewall via https, ssh and panel. We needed to remove the power plug in order to get it running again.

After removing power the auxiliary took over (was able to administrate) and a later switch back worked also.

What might be the reason for this?
How can the root cause of this be found? On a working firewall most of the red ports are open ...

Could be a Hardware issue. You should login a case to get this sorted out. Maybe there are Kernel Dumps as well.

Glaub ich nicht dran. Unsere XG550 in der Zentrale kackt auch immer mal wieder ab. Dazu gibts auch andere Posts. Da ist irgendwas im Cluster schief…

So my installations (SG450, XGS2300, XG650) HA does not have such issues at all. Did not hear back from customers with such issues, which are not caused by Hardware issues.
