Thank you for what seems an excellent product. I am a newcomer to firewalls (I briefly used the KYZO "Pizzabox" some 10 years ago, but nothing since), and am trying to understand how best to set it up. So far I have it working with the WAN port connected to one of the LAN ports of a Draytek ADSL router, and the LAN port connected to a MESH system (Netgear ORBI Pro) in AP mode. But that doesn't have enough ethernet ports, so I'd like the router (in AP mode?) to be on the LAN side of the firewall.
I had assumed that I could just connect the firewall PC to a modem (such as the Draytek 120 that I have available and used to use with a cable (non-ADSL) router. But I don't know how to enter the broadband settings into the XG interface. On the interface if I confirm "router" mode it asks for "port number", which I assume refers to port forwarding or something else too advanced for my needs...
Can anyone help? Or can I not do this? It's not a big problem to use two routers, one in router mode on the WAN side and one in AP mode on the LAN side, but it's inelegant!
Thanks very much.
