go to internet via l2tp vpn

hi folks,

i have create a l2tp vpn on a sophos xg115 , the ip range works, i can connect to the vpn but when i connect i could not use the "normal" internet.

ill get the ip, then the dns and wins server but no gateway.

in the roulset i have also make a roule that you can surf over vpn to the internet.... i´m now on the end of my knowledge, can anyone help?

    Hi : I can only assume the Internet is not working maybe your VPN tunnel adapter on the end machine has been configured in full tunnel mode ( and not in the split) which will forward your Internet traffic of the local system to XG and which will require VPN to WAN rule with linked NAT rule with MASQ action on XG OR you may change the adapter settings from full to split as per below snapshot.



    Regarding no gateway IP to virtual adapter may be expected working behavior on end system for such virtual adapter as per some of the Internet blogs.
