Site-to-site VPN and Concurrent Sessions

Good day!

I am new to Sophos and we have a client who wants to buy a firewall, we recommend Sophos XGS 2100 and we have covered all their specification requirements except the following:

Site-to-Site VPN: 300 Tunnel

Concurrent Sessions: 2000 users

What does this two (2)- means?

I saw 6,500,000 Concurrent users in the XGS 2100 brochure. What does the 6.5M means? does it mean users?

Thank you.

  • I think you mean 'concurrent connections' which would entail network shares, devices, users, etc. across the Site-to-Site connection.

  • Hi Raynan and welcome to the Sophos Community!

I would ask your Sophos Sales Team in your area if the 2100 is enough horsepower for 2000 VPN user sessions as I suspect a more powerful appliance may be necessary.

    Cheers - Bob
