Firewall rules bridge mode router

I have a Draytek router in bridge mode connecting to a xg106 firewall. The router is set to 192.168.0.1 and the XG 106 is configured to 192.168.1.254.

I need a rule to allow me to navigate from the LAN to the bridged router.  Can anyone help.

  • Hi,

with the router in bridge mode you will need to setup an alias on your WAN interface with the 192.168 address, then create a rule at the top of your rule list allowing access to that address. You will also need a NAT specifically for the router address.

I do not expect this to work from my past experience at trying this on earlier version of the XG though I don't think I included the NAT.
