  • I had the same issue. What worked for me was disabling SSL inspection. No issue since.

  • Thanks for the info, The only thing is SSL inspection was already not enabled :(

  • Hi,

disabling SSL inspection, I assume you are talking about the SSL/TLS function, if so that is not a good idea except during debugging otherwise you leave your firewall in an insecure state. SSL/TLS was implemented in previous versions. Further you need to check your services that are having performance issues because some services are not supported using the SSL/TLS rules.

The throughput issue is usually associated with IPS - DDOS settings and the recommended settings is to disable them unless you are using a server which is exposed to the internet,, then you need to tune them?

  • Hi , Thanks for the reply .

Never the less, the previous version with the exact same settings was working fine with no slowness, Only after the upgrade did everything become very slow, That I had to revert back.

This is dont think has anything to do with enabling SSL.TLS function or IPS, DDOS.

IPS was already enabled before the  upgrade and was working fine.

  • Hi,

from my experience, I had to disable all DDOS settings after the upgrade because the new version was causing connection issues for some devices and I was not able to find a setting that worked.
