CRASH: Sophos XG210 - Wireless firmware update

Hi guys,

So our xg210 randomly crashed, weirdly enough the system logs shows the firewall booted in 8 seconds, which is obviously not normal.

Checking the logs, about 38 seconds before the firewall went down, it updated the Wireless Protection patterns.

  • Hi  : If your current firmware is not the latest one then would suggest upgrading the firmware with the latest version. Once it is done and if the issue still persists then would suggest opening a support case to have a further investigation on random crash ( auto-reboot) to validate more by putting required services in debug and applying ATOP script to monitor the resource utilization.
