Unable to apply firewall rules

Question

Hello, 
 I have issues with the firewall appliance apparently going randomly into failsafe mode. This happens from time to time. The reason is "Unable to apply firewall rules Restarting the machine solves the issue for some time. 
 I have found this but don't really understand what to do. 
 
 I have the firewall installed as a virtual machine on Esxi. As far as I understand it might have something to do with the NIC and with NAT. 
 
 Can anyone help?

Hi, 
 is this a home or business installation? You either use the XG vm install modules or the software ISO both work. I prefer the software ISO.

Hi, 
 the default installed NAT rule is all you need for most internet access. ou will not need any fancy NAT rules or even linked NAT rules. 
 So, does the VM interface show the connections tot he XG. The VM should hide most nice from the XG so regardless of whether XG supports them not. A warning, the XG installation will see the NICs in a different order to what you setup for your local and WAN connections.
