SMTP Data Time out message abandoned

mails from xx.xxx.58.4 / 123@123.de to me Sophos XG 330 192.168.xx.xx bigger than ~5 MB will be failed.

How can I find out where or how the time out comes about.

    Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

    I haven't seen this error before, however, if you put the smtpd_main.log in debug mode and they sent you another email treated than 5MB it would probably provide more clues on the error

    To put the smtpd in debug mode run the following command from the advanced shell

    # service smtpd:debug -ds nosync
