How do I block Youtube without using Video Hosting Category

Hi

I have a requirement to block some streaming sites such as Youtube from user access. I know it can be done by using the native default Video Hosting Category.

However, when we use that, it block all video hosting services. I want to use more specific sites and block only a subset rather than the entire set.

Can someone help me with that?

I am using XG115.

  • Thanks Emmanuel.

I was intending to use an existing rule by adding Web and Application Activity Level blocks.

As you (and Iian) suggested, I have created 2 new Firewall Rules with specific Web and Application Policies. That worked. I trust that I will be able to add (i mean club) any other streaming sites into this rule to block them from the same rule rather than creating too many rules.

    Thanks again.
