environment friendly Hardware Packaging XGS and APX

I like the packaging of the XGS. At least the small size unit 136 came in 100% cardboard box. Well done.

The APX still come in a Box surrounded by plastic foam and even inside the white and blue "Design" box there is just an other type of plastic foam material.

End of last year we replaced WiFi in a remote location with 15 APs by APX320. The ammount of useless waste by the packaging was too high.

Are there plans to improve packaging for less footprint and waste also for APX?

    thanks for the feedback.

    Sophos is fully aware of this and actively working on improving packaging to be more eco friendly and to minimize waste.

    We are planning to use either cardboards or molded paper (like with XGS desktop models) wherever possible for any models we are launching in the future.
