SIP ISSABEL VOIP outbound Call issue with Multiple WAN

Dear Team,

i face issue in SOPHOS XG Firewall V18.

ISSABEL VOIP outbound call not working with Multiple WAN, everything are working fine with Multiple WAN, only Outbound call are not working in my ISSABEL server inbound working as well, when inbound and outbound calls are working fine with single WAN, i request you to kindly guide me what should i do?

  • Hi : Thank you for reaching out to the Sophos community team. Based on the summary, VoIP calls work fine with a single ISP but do not work with multiple WANs. As you have both the scenarios, working and non-working in place you may capture TCPDUMP Drop packet PCAP on required IPs (multiple IPs with OR condition which are par of calling system connection from VOIP device to server registration) and then you may compare working and non-working PCAP and TCPDUMP to see the problematic observations.

    I can assume with multiple WAN it may possible after call establishment ) for audio channel establishment (RTP channel) traffic or connection getting forwarded to next WAN as that has been considered as in new connection traffic and due to that it may be forwarded to next WAN as XG will do load balance among all active WAN. But this is only my assumption the actual reason you may get from the above logs.
