I'm having an issue with getting DNS-O-Matic to update and I'd like to know of a way to see the query that Sophos sends to dnsomatic.
The Dynamic DNS service is setup using the hostname: all.dnsomatic.com (this updates all entries at dnsomatic)
It sends the request successfully and the Sophos logs show this:
"2022-01-02 21:56:16 SYSTEM messageid="17815" log_type="Event" log_component="DDNS" log_subtype="System" status="Success" host="all.dnsomatic.com" updated_ip="1.2.3.4" reason="N/A" message="DDNS update for host all.dnsomatic.com was Successful. Updated with IP 1.2.3.4."" (IP edited for obvious reasons)
On the DNS-O-Matic site, nothing happens. The services are not being updated.
Using their test URL, it updates the IPs correctly:
"https://<username>:<password>@updates.dnsomatic.com/nic/update?hostname=all.dnsomatic.com&myip=1.2.3.4&wildcard=NOCHG&mx=NOCHG&backmx=NOCHG"
My Synology is also updating correctly DNS-O-Matic.
So, is there a way to see the query that SOPHOS sends to DNS-O-Matic?
DNS-O-Matic is set to send an email after every change, but I get nothing when Sophos updates it.
