Microsoft Teams Application exception in Firewall Rule

I have a few PCs I want to lock down from accessing anything but a few URLs and applications.  I have created a firewall rule that blocks traffic and provided exceptions for the URLs I want access to, but when I try to launch the Microsoft Teams app on the PC, it does not load.  I get "Error code - env_check_error.  Failed to connect to settings endpoint".  I can access the Teams web application and login just fine.  I've tried to find out how to add the application the the exceptions, but I haven't figured it out yet.  Can someone please help me to allow the dedicated Microsoft Teams app to open and bypass my firewall rule?

  • Hi Julie,  Did you download the O365 web exception list (tar file) and import those into your firewall?  After you do that , then go into the web exceptions and make sure the exceptions are enabled for the Team items.
