SG310 upgrading to 18.5 secondary appliance stuck in fault state

Last night during maintenance we were attempting to update to the latest version of SFOS 18.5 Build 326. We downloaded and hit install and both firewalls rebooted. After that the primary came up running the old firmware version and the secondary had a blank screen with no network activity. I can console in and see it says that it is running SFOS version 18.5 but is still in Fault. Upon further investigation using the following articles:

We realized our firewalls were hardware revision 1 not 2 and therefore is not supported. But it still presented the update in our web interface. 

Either way I want to know if there is a way to get this hardware to run that version of SFOS or if its possible to downgrade back to the version we were running previously
