Unable to restore latest firmware backup of XG115w on XGS2100

Hi.

Can someone please assist? I want to restore the backup from a Sophos XG115w firewall on a new XGS2100 firewall. Both firewalls are running the latest firmware.

But I get an error stating that the backup file is incompatible.

I want to know is this possible? Because the existing firewall has many rules etc that I would like to restore to the new fw.

    Technically you can export everything. This should work as a backup/restore. But it could fail.

    So try it and check, what is going on.

    You can do a full export. Or you can only do a selective export with certain modules.
